Checking out colleges the easy way

A newly developed website makes it easy to review and check out colleges in the United States and Canada.  All you have to do is click on a state, and you can find reviews of the colleges in that state.  The best part is that the reviews come from former students, and they rate their colleges for a variety of things, including academics, housing, dining, campus and facilities, diversity, and nightlife.  Since The University Review is a new site, it's just waiting for students to come on board and put in their two cents about schools they have attended.

The brains behind this site belong to Tony Powell and Jake Reeves.  They launched theuniversityreview.com in February of this year.  It is designed to be a college/university review tool.  The guys are eager to listen to their readers and add requested features to their site.  The cool thing about it is it's not some big organization just trying to make money.  The site is run by two guys who are working on their MBA's and came up with a creative idea.  They decided to act on it and genuinely want to help students like themselves research schools before making an informed decision.

I just love it when young people have the brains and energy to start something new.  Tony and Jake remind me of some of my former students.  I'm sure some of them are out there coming up with their own creative ideas.  How wonderful is that?

If you get a chance, spread the word about this site.  These guys are making their former teachers proud.  They would also like your feedback and suggestions.
