I found this old class picture and wondered if any of my classmates might recognize themselves. Actually, my sister and I were going through a box of old paper dolls that we had made when we were kids. We drew them ourselves. I know that is hard to believe from the quality. (The picture below is a small sample. We made a bunch.) We weren't among the popular set, but our paper dolls sometimes made it. If you flipped them over, you would find that they all have names, and some of the names belonged to the popular people of the day.

It is funny for me to think of the group known as the popular people. I wonder if they continued to be on the "A" list as working adults. Little did they know that they were placed in the Shoebox Hall of Fame to be remembered and discussed years later. My sister and I laughed until we cried and actually remembered a lot of the names without looking. You can tell from their attire that some of the old styles are coming back. How is it that who we were in high school continues to be a part of our lives as we grow older?
